In general we do not use price breaks as such. Rather we use our own price calculation system which you may find referred to in our documentation as Real World Pricing or RWP for short.
The intention of RWP is to deliver fair prices based on the chosen quantity of a product.
In essence for a small quantity of an inexpensive product you will pay a price more related to the cost of processing the sale (such as the time taken to pick the product), whereas for a larger quantity of the same product you will pay a price more related to the cost of the product alone.
RWP does not apply to all products. In general it only applies to fastener ranges which we offer in any quantity. So for example it would generally apply to M10 Nuts, but it may not apply to a single 1kg bag of nails.
